Karachi University’s first-ever Annual Carnival was held in the University from the 29th to 31st October. I was invited by the organizers to paint a 50 feet graffiti mural for the carnival which I happily agreed to do. Took me around 8 hours to make the graffiti look as perfect as possible. Had great fun it was an awesome event!!
In collaboration with Haseeb Siddiqui I will be creating murals and artwork at the Commune Artist Colony, Karachi, owned by the wonderful Yousuf Basheer Qureshi. This is a long, well thought, experimental and crazy-fun-filled project where you will get to see a lot of my never-seen-before techniques and styles of work.
Ace photographer Haseeb Siddiqui started setting up his studio at the Commune Artist Colony yesterday and invited me to paint the bigger part of the ceiling in the studio. I took poetry of famous Eastern Poets such as Allama Iqbal, Mirza Ghalib and Momin and painted them on the ceiling in super abstract Urdu calligraphy.
Unfortunately the Battle of May had no entries and I couldnt organize the Graffiti Battle for the month of June because of my hectic schedule so here is a few pieces that I did during my spare time. Great things coming up. One Love. Peace
